I live for words

Some days the words flow like a river.  Other days…the riverbed is dry.

Today?  Parched.

So, here’s your chance–it’s DeLurking Day at River Of Thoughts.  Y’all know a lot about me by now…Leave a comment and introduce yourself!

About Christine

I’m a writer, a recovering project manager, and a corporate refugee with a passion to share the lessons I've learned. I've worked with bestselling authors to launch nearly a million dollars' worth of books and online courses. I've seen what works (and what doesn't), and I know what it takes for a growing writer to get your work out and grow as you go.

  1. I’ve commented a few times, I think, but to introduce myself formally: Benjer McVeigh, youth pastor in Ogden, UT; blogger/writer; my wife and I are just beginning an adoption journey. Not sure what God has in store, we’re just taking things one step at a time.

Welcome, Benjer! I love your “Dear Youth Pastor” posts…hysterical (and very clearly satirical!).

Anyone wanting a good laugh about how to NOT run a youth group, as well as some solid thoughts on faith and the modern church…check out benjermcveigh.com!

Wow, those ARE funny! Thanks for the link, Christine.

  2. I loiter on your site quite often, but never formally introduced myself. I’m Scott Kerzner, Cat Scan Supervisor by day, blogger and future publisher by EARLY day (and late night!).

I live in Sarasota Florida with my wife, Kathy, and two hysterical boys, Ryan (4) and Jack (almost 2). We have never adopted, but if anyone is interested in our two little guys, we are accepting offers! (Sorry, that’s not even funny. Well, maybe a little funny!)

Wouldn’t trade any of it for the world, except for the Cat Scan part!

Loiterers are welcome, and I loiter over at your place a lot too!!! I don’t think I realized you did cat scans…see, this is why we should always do introductions! And there are days when i think about trading a couple of teenaged girls for…oh, i don’t know, maybe a new vacuum and a couple pounds of coffee?

Completely kidding…Like you, I love them unconditionally, but yeah…there are days.

Everyone, Scott missed one little important piece of information about his blog…He and his wife have been hustling through Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover, and blogging about the journey to being debt free. And they are scheduled to hit that amazing milestone in just a couple more weeks. Shout-out to the Almost Debt Free Kerzners! indue season.net ….go check it out!

  3. Scorpions! It cracks me up that that’s one of the biggest words.

My name is Ben Steele. I am a machinist/welder/aspiring pastor in Auburn, AL. I tweet @thebensteele and blog at bighairydeal.net, a blog for young men making their way as spiritual leaders.

It’s nice to meet you guys, Benjer and Scott. I have seen you both around here and SCL. Scott, I have a friend who regularly asks people how much cash they will accept for their kids. It’s funny to see someone else using that joke 🙂

Yeah, I’m not exactly sure how worldle counted words for this. I’m a little disturbed that “really” was so big. I think i need to edit a little more carefully.

Ben, I’m *really* excited for your new blog, and I’m excited to share your thoughts here in just a couple of weeks…Everyone stay tuned for a guest-post from Ben coming soon!!

Thanks Christine! Drafted it today, a little editing session later this week and we’ll be good to go! Looking forward to it.
